Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Is this Play Store screenshot generator really free?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark, no export limit, and no paid tier. The full source code is public on GitHub

What screenshot sizes does Google Play accept?

Each side must be between 320 and 3840 pixels, with no side more than twice the other, in JPEG or 24 bit PNG with no alpha. For featuring Google wants 1080px or better in 9:16 or 16:9, which is why the default template size here is 1080 by 1920. The full size reference has every asset

Is the feature graphic really required?

Yes. Google Play will not publish a store listing without a 1024 by 500 feature graphic, and it doubles as the cover image for your preview video. The editor ships a preset at exactly that size

Where do my screenshots go when I upload them?

Nowhere. The editor runs entirely in your browser. Projects and uploads live in your browser storage on your own machine, and there is no backend to send them to

Can it make App Store screenshots too?

Yes. The same editor exports iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch screenshots at every size Apple accepts. The App Store screenshot generator page has the details
